SCOTXblog covers Texas appellate practice, with a special focus on the Supreme Court of Texas.
I started SCOTXblog two years ago, soon after leaving the Texas Office of the Solicitor General. In that time, the blog has gained an audience among the Texas appellate bar and journalists who follow Texas courts.
You can follow the blog through its RSS feed, by email (managed by Feedburner), or by following new posts on the blog’s own Twitter feed (@scotxblog).
About the Editor
The blog is edited by Don Cruse (firm profile). I have both clerked at and practiced before the Supreme Court of Texas. I now practice appellate law through my firm focusing on appeals in Texas and federal courts.
Before starting this blog, I worked at Texas’s Office of Solicitor General, which handles some of the state’s most significant cases in Texas Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit, and Texas intermediate appellate courts, as well as the U.S Supreme Court.
